        Every Orange County resident deserves a fair chance at a healthy future.

        Right now, that future is at risk. In Orange County, 1 in 8 adults smokes and

        1 in 10 youth ages 11-17 vapes or uses another toxic tobacco product.

        Vision & Mission

        We envision an Orange County where all residents have a fair chance at a healthy future—free from nicotine addiction. We will become a primary resource for tobacco education and prevention in Orange County, Florida. Our mission is to join forces with Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT), young adults, and community leaders to promote a tobacco and nicotine-free Orange County.

      • INITIATIVES

        Local initiatives supported by the Tobacco Free Partnership of Orange County include those intended to:

        • Stop illegal tobacco and vape product sales and predatory marketing practices. Learn More
        • Vaping Resources available: The Facts Now, CDC Electronic Cigarettes and E-Cigarette and Vape Pen Module
        • Ensure K-12 school policies that address tobacco are comprehensive and effective. Learn More
        • Assist higher education institutions to implement tobacco-related policies that are comprehensive and effective.  Learn More or Visit Smoke-free UCF

        • Partner with health systems to improve access to evidence-based cessation services.

        The Tobacco Free Partnership of Orange County typically meets every quarter. Meetings are open to the public, and guests are welcome!

        Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) mobilizes and equips youth to protect their generation from the tobacco and vaping industries. Orange County SWAT members build leadership skills and plan activities to help raise awareness and support for policies that benefit the community.
